The FAQ

"How long does one piece take?"

Usually, one art piece can take up to 30 hours total. The artwork can vary depending on the number of characters and the level of detail that is required for art style, clothing, and/or landscape (for example). If you have an important date, let me know with 3 weeks in advanced, if possible.

"How long have you been an Artist?"

I have been drawing all my life, and a professional for 6 years. I make it a point to continue exercising in areas I am unfamiliar with (anatomy, landscape, color theory, art style, etc.) so I can provide a variety of work for those looking for unique artwork.

"How many art pieces do I get per a commission?"

The choice is yours, but you will have a discussion with the artist before the commission begins. This allows you to discuss all options in your price range!

"What is a Revision Phase?"

A Revision Phase occurs once the artist presents a finished draft of the art piece to the commissioner. You have 48 hours to create a list of elements you would like altered. These alterations do not change the original concept, position, and/or angle. If a single alteration is to take beyond 2 hours of work, you will discuss with the artist before moving forward.

"Do you allow for revisions?"

Absolutely! You and I are two different people learning to communicate to create an art piece that came from your mind; it will take a few chances to get that right. I allow for 2 "sets" of Revision Phases once I present what I believe to be the final piece.

"What's your turn around time?"

I like to have a 2 week turn around period on average. If a piece is to take more time you will be told before the beginning of your piece. If your due date is beyond 2 weeks, this will allow me to give more time and energy to the overall image! I can play around with different concepts to bring a more unique design.

"How do we book you?"

3. DM me through IG!

"Do I need to ask to use your work?"

If you paid for a design by me, then the design is yours! Please be mindful that it is your choice to give the artist credit when presenting the piece in the future and word of the mouth is the most genuine way that Meraki Universe can grow!

(A print does not give you creative ownership, only a commission!)

"How far out do you book?"

I can book up to 3 months ahead of the current date. However, if you have not paid then you are liable to lose your spot in the queue. Paying in full allows you to solidify your inquiry and the amount of time it would take to finish your work.

"Do we get updates during the commission process?"

Yes! Every commission has a Google Drive folder attached where I will upload progress shots for you!

"What should we do once we have the piece?"

Posters, canvas prints, even postcards, can all be printed using places like Staples and Office Max. My artwork has been used for album covers, online advertising, and world building purposes for those creating their own story!

(If you would like to have the art printed for you, please discuss with the artist at the beginning of the commission)
